I saw these guys in Detroit, MI when driving with no directions at all from Kalamazoo. I drove to St.Andrews Hall club at 16 in the dark with my little friend but I had to see them live!- The band was a comple te success, better than expected! Katie Jane Gerside even gave my friend & I pink tea cup full of pineapple juice to sip from. Unbelievable!

All GRRL Bands Created!
Bikini Kill was about Change. Change is Clothing, Hairstyles, Music, All girl bands, just to get rid of the decade before the 19990s, & they did just that. A New Generation of Punks, GRRLS & it was wonderful.
I found Bikini Kill in an underground 'Zine called Sassy. The editor sought for change & released a Bikini Kill advdertisement. What News to the Girls! All GRRL bands began being created, like the woman's Lib movement of 1960s the woman were given the right to be all girl bands! the 1 990s was Awesome

Screa ming Girl Voices Creators
Babes in Toyland Created the Screaming Voice in GRRL Bands. Courtney Love was once in Babes in Toyland & went on to create Hole, a then popular screaming band. She later married Kurdt Cobain & the rest is history.
But Babes in Toyland revolutionized broken Dolls with Vintage Clothing from long ago. Ribbons were tied everywhere & they brought about a New Way of life for irritaed females, unhappy with way things were. Very Creative, Artists I'd call them.

Crass beleves in Anarchy for Real, No laws, No government, just No, against the norm.
Penis Envy, their Album about female issues is really a great album. About what Brides have to Bare is just grueling & sad but with a beautiful voice.
Crass was founded in the 1970s & had carbon copies of controversal topics & of course Anarchy. Today they still survive, Check them Out.
